Science and Heritage Conference 2013

In 2007 the AHRC/EPSRC Science and Heritage programme was created to re-establishing the UK's position as leaders in the international cultural heritage field.

The aims of the programme were to encourage broad collaborations across disciplines and support meaningful relationships between researchers and industry.

At the 2013 Science and Heritage Conference, science minister David Willetts in his address to delegates, emphasised how much had been achieved by the programme.

This slideshow from the AHRC contains interviews and photographs from the event, giving a real flavour of the day; it also gives an insight into several of the very successful research projects that were funded under the Science Heritage programme.
