Living with Environmental Change
Living With Environmental Change (LWEC) is a ten year research programme with over 20 different funding partners. LWEC aims to meet the needs identified by the Stern Review on the Economics of Climate Change, the United Nations’ Millennium Ecosystem Assessment and the reports by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. LWEC aims to bring together researchers from across the different disciplines in the natural, engineering, economic, social, medical, cultural, arts and humanities. It involves working with businesses, government bodies, NGOs and the public to understand the research challenges and the social and economic implications of environmental change.
More information can be found on the Living With Environmental Change website.
As a part of LWEC AHRC is co-funding a new Programme on Valuing Nature, details are on the NERC website.
