Pilot scheme launches for arts and humanities EDI fellowships
A new pilot scheme has been launched by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) to fund a number of fellowships aimed at arts and humanities researchers working in the area of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI).
Up to £100,000 is available for each fellowship, which will support researchers to work with relevant communities to generate more substantial and longer-term community engagement in the areas of history, languages, culture, heritage, creativity and many other fields.
AHRC Executive Chair, Professor Andrew Thompson, said: “Outstanding arts and humanities research can make a real difference to today’s EDI challenges.
“This pilot scheme is intended to highlight the range of ways in which it can do that, making existing research more joined up, providing enhanced opportunities for community and stakeholder engagement, and informing AHRC’s future work.”
