'What role for communities in heritage management?' JPI-CH seminar

The French Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Research, the National Research Agency and the Foundation for Heritage Sciences, are pleased to organize a thematic day as part of the French participation in the Joint Programming Initiative on Cultural Heritage Action Programme (JPI-CH, JHEP2), Activity 24 - ”Community as actor in heritage management”.

The seminar will be untitled “What role for communities in heritage management?”, and put into perspective a selection of projects completed or still in progress, funded by the JPI-CH, notably by the Heritage Plus Call (EU-WATHER) and the Digital Heritage Call (DIGIDOGON), with other projects funded at the French level, in particular by the Foundation for Heritage Sciences, the National Research Agency, on similar challenges and involving ‘communities’ in the broadest sense of the term (communities of users, practitioners, stakeholders, contributors, for example).

The Seminar will take place in Paris, at the auditorium of the “Médiathèque de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine”.
