Event celebrating the Manchester activities of the AHRC funded Cross-Language Dynamics: Reshaping Community Project, a multi-partner consortium which is part of the OWRI (Open World Research Initiative). This event presents initiatives demonstrating how appreciation of linguistic diversity can reinvigorate audiences in creative industries.

It will include a preview of a multilingual operatic retelling of the Daedalus myth; a film exploring how language-learning enriches individuals and communities; and a presentation of an initiative to make Manchester Museum a model multilingual institution.

This event is presented in partnership with Creative Manchester.
